Jeh Aerospace raises $2.75 million in funding round led by General Catalyst

Aerospace and defense manufacturing startup Jeh Aerospace has raised $2.75 million in a seed funding round led by San Francisco-based venture capital firm General Catalyst.

The 2022-founded startup provides solutions to the aerospace and defense industries. These include manufacturing, engineering and supply chain management solutions with a specialisation in aero-structure and aero-engine components and assemblies.

The global aerospace industry offers challenges that impact its reliability and resilience, relating to complexity, geopolitical factors, supply chain disruptions and workforce constraints in its manufacturing centres in the US and western Europe .

“We were able to close a few customers without having anything on ground based on the credibility and value proposition that we are delivering. We will be opening up a brand new facility for manufacturing soon,” said cofounder and CEO Vishal Sanghavi, who set up the firm along with Venkatesh Mudragalla.
